Researchers examined tissue samples of 12 men immediately following 10 minutes of high intensity interval (HIIT) cycling.
The exercise stimulated significant anti-aging effects via removal of aged and worn out cellular damage, but these beneficial effects were absent in subjects consuming anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medications.
Conclusions
Anti-inflammatory medications can interfere with the beneficial anti-aging effects of exercise.
