Collagen Supplements Improve Vertical Jump

Collagen supplements were provided to 44 subjects over the course of a 6-month strength training and rehabilitation program.

Compared to those consuming a placebo, subjects given the collagen supplements experienced significantly greater improvements in vertical jump testing and 72.1% reported reduced joint pain.

Conclusions

Collagen supplements support tendon and cartilage remodeling in a manner that improves vertical jump and enhances athleticism.
