Improving sleep may be one of the key treatments for decreasing symptoms of ADHD.
In a new study in the “British Medical Journal”, researchers assessed 244 children with ADHD and gave half of them guidance towards improving sleep quality. After six months, the children whose sleep had improved demonstrated less behavioral difficulties, improved working memory, and less overall symptoms of ADHD.
Conclusions
Improving sleep is one of the most common strategies that can decrease symptoms of ADHD.
